Don't you hate it when people make a joke about you, about something that you are actually incredibly insecure about. And they don't realise it, but every laugh feels like a stab in your chest, because it hurts so much and brings up memories you'd rather forget. But you can't say anything, because then people would know your weaknesses. They'd know how insecure you really are. So instead you just laugh it off, and hide the pain you feel inside.

On Friday, I had to attend a funeral burial for an elderly who passed away recently. I didn’t want to go since I wasn’t close with him, nor knew him much, but I went anyways and skipped school.
People were saying their speeches and blessings. Then his grand daughter started to read her speech. I’m not a big fan on listening to speeches and whatnot, but her speech touched me. She spoke about how her grandpa was always there for her, he was always there to take care of her, the time he taught her how to drive, and all the memories they had cherished together. In the middle of her speech she broke down crying.
From that point on, I realized how much I rarely showed any affection to my grandma. I used to think she was just real strict, naggy, and annoying but she’s like that because she cares so much. Everytime I needed her - she’s there, when were hungry- she cooks, when there’s a problem - she’s there to cheer us up, when I’m wrong - she tells me what’s right. Tell your loved ones that you love them. Tell them soon because in a blink of an eye it can be too late. I love you grandma <3
